There are 118 parking places for motor cars and 16 places for coaches at the Kuopio Music Centre parking area which is located in front of the main entrance across the street (Kuopionlahdenkatu). The parking area is under the surveillance of the city traffic wardens.
Parking during the day between 8 am. - 4 pm. is free for the first 2 hours in the first two sections nearest to the Music Centre main entrance. When the duration of the event is longer than two hours the customers will need to inquire for a parking permit from the Music Centre personnel. The rest of the parking area infront of the Music Centre is free.
Parking by night after 4 pm. at the Music Centre parking area is free. In addition there are parking possibilities along the side roads nearby the Music Centre.
The Kuopio city market place parking place is located 3 blocks from the Music Centre under the city market place. There are 700 parking places which are situated underneath the city market place in two floors. The market place parking entrance is from the Haapaniemenkatu and exit to the Puijonkatu.
The Kuopio Music Centre cloakroom is located in adjacence with the main entrance and Ticket Sales counter in the Main Entrance Hall. The cloakroom services are provided by the Kuopion Nuorisomusiikki ry. The price for the controlled cloakroom services is 1 euro, unless otherwise informed by the organiser of the event. There is also a free and uncontrolled cloakroon section in the lobby.
The registration for the participants of different events, meetings and congresses is normally at the Registration Desk located in the Main Entrance hall of the Music Centre. The location of the Registration Desk may change according to the wishes of the organiser.
The Service Manager and the caretakers of the Kuopio Music Centre are the people in charge of the general day to day running of the building, receiving and sending off deliveries as well as the preparation of events and facilities in co-operation with the Music Centre technical personnel. The caretakers are the one's you can contact from morning till evening. They will also be available to you during your event if needed. Customers may also inquire about lost property from the caretakers.
