There are 118 parking places for cars and 16 places for coaches at the Kuopio Music Centre parking area which is located in front of the main entrance across the street (Kuopionlahdenkatu). The parking area is under the surveillance of the city traffic wardens.
Parking during the day between 8 am. - 4 pm. is free for the first 2 hours in the first two sections nearest to the Music Centre main entrance. When the duration of the event is longer than two hours the customers will need to inquire for a parking permit from the Music Centre personnel. The rest of the parking area in front of the Music Centre is free.
Parking by night after 4 pm. at the Music Centre parking area is free. In addition there are parking possibilities along the side roads nearby the Music Centre.
The Kuopio city market place parking place is located 3 blocks from the Music Centre under the city market place. There are 700 parking places which are situated underneath the city market place in two floors. The market place parking entrance is from the Haapaniemenkatu and exit to the Puijonkatu.
The Kuopio Music Centre cloakroom is adjacent to the main entrance and Ticket Sales counter in the Main Entrance Hall. The cloakroom services are provided by the Kuopion Nuorisomusiikki ry. The price for the controlled cloakroom services is 1 euro, unless otherwise informed by the organiser of the event. There is also a free and uncontrolled cloakroom section in the lobby.
The duration of the interval is normally 20 minutes, if there is one. The duration of the interval and possible changes are informed to the customers by public announcements.
The artists performing on the Kuopio Music Centre stage are here to entertain you. We kindly ask our audience to grant the artists total silence without any distractions during the performance. Pphotography (especially with flash), recording using sound or video is not allowed during the performances (unless otherwise informed in the beginning of the performance or in the programme leaflet).
As the Concert Hall doors close we also ask the audience to check that mobile phones are closed.
In case a performance is cancelled due to illness or some other insurmountable impediment the producer of the performance will inform the audience on the terms of cancellations and possible refunds. Normally tickets purchased in advance are not refundable.
The producer will also inform whether the performance will be postponed to another date during the same or next season and whether tickets purchased in advance will also apply for the new performance, or decide the terms on how to refund the tickets.
The refund process also depends on the producer. Normally the producer is in charge of the refunds. Other costs, such as travel and accommodation, will not be refunded.
