The heart of the Kuopio Music Centre is the 1,064-seater Concert Hall with common beech interior. The acoustics designed by professor Alpo Halme have been appraised both by the professionals of the music industry and the audience. The number of seats, size of the stage and the acoustics may be adapted to different purposes for concerts, meetings and congresses. The first three rows of the floor can be removed and thus use the floorspace as the orchestra pit or raise to function as a front stage or a runway for fashion shows.
